I did the hot dogs & chips thing for the Grandchildren last Saturday for the Munchkins. The kids were thrilled. I served Fruit Gushers for dessert. Why can't their fathers be as easily satisfied?

Oh, yes, doing dinner, too. The Coopster is picking up the baby and then will be down here. Daughter-in-law has to work late this evening, so I thought it would be easier on all concerned (well, except me) to feed them all before they go home.

IF the rain stops I am making burgers and brats on the grill, with slaw and German potato salad. (Kids will probably want burgers and chips.)

Some thug pulls one of my daughters or my wife out of a car and the thugs would die and the order givers would die.

My 20 y.o. (The one that scored "expert" with grenades in basic training) summed it up very well: "Ain't no way in he!! I'd ever wear a d@mned burka."
