Cool!

Let me know ahead of time .... maybe we can meet for lunch or something.

Will the First Lady be with you or will you be traveling alone? Btw, she shares a first name with my niece.

Yes, it is back to work for me in Provo. Reality will hit in a BIG way. However, I am still grateful to have a job. The Wednesday before I left, my company announced layoffs. The news had been in the newspaper the previous weekend, so I spent a few days trying to decide if I should cancel on the cruise. I decided not to. When they made the announcement, they said the layoffs would be completed by the end of July. I just didn't realize that they would start the next week. I received an email from my brother-in-law on Wednesday, that he had made it though the layoffs. I assume I still have a job, I can still access my work email account, and I had an appointment for a division meeting on Thursday. Usually, that is a good sign that you are still employed.

The bright side is that I probably won't have to go to Bangalore this summer. They're trying to cut expenses, I'm sure a trip to Bangalore for six people for six to eight weeks will be cut, that would be a great cost cutting measure.

Leni is a wonderful lady. I worked with her on the cruise committee,...

OK, I'm not spending enough time on FR lately. Is Machett P I going too? Darn, I wish I could be there. (sigh)

Also tell Leni "hi" from me and the First lady.

The cruise was last week. :) Matchett PI wasn't there. There were 39 people on the cruise, we're hoping to get more for the next go-around.

Jonna may be coming, although it's too far out yet to say for sure. I hope it all (client work) pans out. I'd like you to meet the First lady. Would be an honor.

I wasn't very happy about going to Bangalore either. I just hate to be out of the country right now, especially in that part of the world. I'm sure I would have been safe, five others were going, and I have met several of the Indian employees from Bangalore. I was asked three times to go, the third time I decided I'd better say yes. I was fearful for my job, but I did feel OK about it. I felt like if I was supposed to go, then I would, if not, something would come up and the trip would be off. Worked out pretty well.

Hi, Neets. No wonder you are soggy....NBC said there had been NINE inches of rain in New York last week! (I was watching the Belmont.)

Utah Girl, I do not like to hear people say that Hillary will be elected. In my opinion, that is defeatist talk. Not allowed! LOL!

Yup!!! More rain than I can remember in quite a long time....I was afraid of that when I saw how much snow we got this winter...it usually follows that we have a wet soggy summer.

I've been watching the weather closely for Molly's visit next week....so far only one evening of rain expected.

Unfortunately, you don't have to be on drugs to be as goofy as I am. The sad part is that enough people from FR have met me and KNOW how goofy I am without drugs. Can you imagine how I would be ON drugs. Sheesh, I don't even want to contemplate that scenario.

For example, just look at the syntax and spelling of the last sentecne.

Sheesh.

I tend to agree with the defeatist angle too. However, we must be on our guard, and work tirelessly to defeat Hillary. I know a lot of conservatives say that she isn't electable because she polarizes people, but I'm still scared of her. The liberals adore her still because she is a proven fundraiser. Of course, they get much less money from her than they thought, but I know of a lot of liberal women who still think she is the cat's meow. The Republicans are going to have to be smart and careful if she ever runs for president.

Oh, I agree there is a possibility she could get elected if the Republicans do something stupid.

I just hate to hear people act like it's a foregone conclusion.
