Hillary Rodham Clinton shows her softer side in her new book, taking some responsibility for "botching" health care reform and not being sensitive enough to people who thought she should be a traditional first lady.
But the New York senator does not apologize for the causes she felt passionate about.

Poor Buddy. I wonder what kind of things the pervert made him do? I think poor Buddy is in a better place now.
From Pruden:
But Bill Clinton is unembarrassable. He was vaccinated against shame and humiliation back in Hot Springs, a long time ago. Sooner rather than later, and that means '04, Ma Clinton will feel a draft, and put on the pants. Which is only right. Pa is more comfortable without 'em.
LOL!!
They must be talking to the media types!
Senator Hillary Clinton confides in her book that she was "dumbfounded, heartbroken and outraged" when she learned of her husband's affair with Monica Lewinsky.
LIAR!!!!!!
Former President Bill Clinton gestures as he addresses the graduates of Milton Academy in Milton, Mass., Friday, June 6, 2003, during graduation exercises. Clinton told graduates at school that he was disappointed at how Americans reacted when France opposed the war in Iraq.
Who cares what you think!
Well then we're even you slimey scum, we're still disappointed you and your hell hound wife won't go away!!
I'm going out to buy two books of greater interest. The first one is from J.R. the guy who hosts WWE RAW on Monday nights. He put out a great cook book. I hear it has some awsome bar b qu recipes in it. He's from Oklahoma and has some fine food ideas.
The second book coming out this week is the book by Mancow. He wrote a book about how he dealed with the death of his father.
I guess I'm into more non-fiction than fiction. Hillary's book is pure fairy tales. OOPs, I mean wicthy tales.

I've been poking around and found another article that just doesn't add up with what Hillary's now saying:
Washington PostMy guess: There are a BUNCH of reporters like Merida out there tearing through their old notes, preparing a story once the book comes out. This might actually be fun!
Kevin Merida
August 19,1998 (The toon testified on August 17th)[snippet] Once again Hillary Clinton finds herself in this familiar place the woman scorned, a public figure under the national spotlight being dissected like a lab frog.
"People are sort of impressed when they call, that she's doing well," says a White House official who is close to her. "They say she sets an example for the rest of us in tough times."
But what is that example? We can draw some tentative conclusions from her actions of the past 72 hours, though in some respects those actions only deepen the mystery about her inner core. She accompanied her husband to church on Sunday, holding his hand, smiling. [trying to fool us again] She invited Jesse Jackson over to the residence that night, saying 18-year-old Chelsea wanted to talk. Jackson prayed with mother and daughter and later desribed the first lady as pained and humiliated, but not shocked by her husband's latest sexcapade.
She was not by the president's side for his televised confession Monday night, as she was for his vague admission of infidelity on "60 Minutes" during the 1992 campaign. But she did help write his speech and participated in strategy meetings preparing him for his grand jury testimony.[I thought they weren't speaking!]
It's not clear when Hillary Clinton first suspected her husband was sneaking around with an intern half her age, but her spokeswoman Marsha Berry said yesterday that the first lady learned only this past weekend that her husband would testify to having an inappropriate relationship. [Note, in this early version, she learned he would TESTIFY, not that "he had lied to her". And if it had happened the way Hill put it, then the early leaks would prolly have said "When he told her...."]
As the Clintons departed yesterday for a 10-day vacation on Martha's Vineyard, they presented a wholesome family tableau. Walking across the South Lawn toward the helicopter, Chelsea held hands with her parents, dog Buddy trotting alongside.
Just as she has done in other times of turmoil, Mrs. Clinton portrayed herself yesterday as the loyal, protective partner. Through Berry, she conveyed that she loves her husband, is committed to their marriage and forgives him. [This is two days after his supposed "confession". Today she says she couldn't forgive him for a long, long time.]
So commonplace, this ritual. [Was the reporter referring to Clinton revisionism?]
