Advice Requested: Best Site for Blog

Pure vanity here. But Freepers have the best advice.

I have decided to start a blog. Just a few paragraphs a day to document my weight loss/exercise regimen and to perhaps toss in a comment here and there on the events of the day (from a conservative perspective).

There are tons of places out there to host a blog but I'm sure some are better than others. Also, I'd be interested to know if any other Freepers out there have blogs of their own. If so, I'd like to bookmark them and keep up with them.

Any pointers on blogging will be welcome as well. My son is interested in starting one also and I think it will be a good way to sharpen his writing skills.

Damn you guys are fast! I agree with you that this is the best site for "blogging." But I don't think the caretakers would be too happy if I was to post a vanity thread every day on how my exercise/diet plan is going.

I sure JR would love to pay for more bandwidth...(g)..but actually...it's an intriguing idea..blog hosting for Freepers...he could do it commercially...it would help defray his costs on FR...you should write to him...
