Thanks for the encouragement. I stayed retired from playing about 6 months, then that old familiar itch started up again - that's why I'm playing in the surf band. Good to get back to my roots! I figure I'll be in my wheelchair in the nursing home, trying to put a band together. I've really become a fan of old-timey country the last few years, and I think my songwriting will be along those lines. Plus I just bought a house in the country. Yee-haw!
