What is wrong with the Dixie Chicks?!
Posted on 05/23/2003 8:46:34 AM PDT by conservative golfer dude
Tuesday night at the Academy of Country Music Awards the Dixie Chicks performed via satelite. Their lead singer wore a shirt that had the letters "FUTK". This was an obvious slam toward Mr. Keith. I think that this act is very childish and uncalled for. I am a big fan of country music, but this is absoulty pathetic. There is no place for liberals in country music.

As the facts have come out, the girls are just stupid. The lead singer opened her mouth in the Capital of our ally when he was in his tuffest debate with his own government. The mouth heard around the world. Sink the Chicks!!

About a year ago, Toby released a song called "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue." It was a patriotic song that talked about putting a "boot up the ass" of the terrorists and of "lighting up their world like the 4th of July." It was the number one country song of last summer.
All of this irritates the anti-American, anti-Bush, anti-war, pro-terrorist Dixie Chicks.

If you heard and saw their "apology" session w/Barbara Walters.....or was it Diane Sawyer?....you'd have the answer to your question: they are basically stupid.

It will be interesting to see if the Ditzy Twits can cross over and pick up fans that agree with them.

I think they will fail.

There are many very good groups out there and things just have to fall into place to get to the top and stay there. All they have to do is dump the little fat one and pick up a new talented lead singer who knows when to keep her mouth shut. Right now they are too full of themselves.
