Here in New york we can expect rain, rogue tornados, drought, drought during torrential rain, extreme dry heat spells, and cold dry winters followed by odd blizzards here and there.
I miss Oklahoma and Fort Sill therein.
At least there the weather was somewhat predictable. Hot during teh day, cold at night, rain during both maybe.

Of course, here we have the threat of earthquakes...that last big one we had, the Nisqually Earthquake, really rattled our house, and did minor damage...we live only a few miles from where the epicenter of the Nisqually Earthquake, took place, so it was the scariest time I ever had, concerning the weather, since I have lived out here...but I am willing to stay here, and take my chances...
Having been raised in Chicago, I lived through those hot humid summers, frozen, blizzardy winters, just about having only 2 weeks of actual spring, and 2 weeks of actual fall weather...I miss the culture of Chicago, its museums, its zoos, and clubs, and restaurants, and all that there is to do in Chicago...but I surely do not miss Chicago weather...
