Oboy. The only one loonier than Van Danekin was Velikovsky. Asimov demolished Velikovsky and the single solitary service that Carl Sagan performed for humanity was to heap well-deserved ridicule on Van Danekin.
My favorite was Sagan's 'discovery' of an Aztec carving clearly illustrating the front view of a Jeep.
