You might need a lot of those tinfoil things, because a LOT of average people have seen some strange things! My grandparents lived in downtown St.Louis in the 60's [like The Brush mentioned].

They would go for a walk in the evenings and one night a dark object, flying low, passed over them without a sound. They said it was so large that it blocked out the whole sky! They offered no opinion because they had never seen anything like it before.
