Tamyra Grey is ripping off Eva Casssidy's version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". Note for note that's Eva's version. Thought she had more class than that.

hi, bear!
I'm here! I'm running down the hall during commercials!
So far, Clay danced. Tamyra is singing Kim's song.

Does he just sound the same on every tune....like he's just phoning it in?
And I worry about him having to do a CONCERT, with like a lot of songs IN A ROW......he may stroke out!

he said the producers were pushing Ruben because they wanted him to win (for some reason)
To: fightinJAG
JAG are you telling me that Clay danced for real?? Man I have 2.5 hours to wait for that!

He was wiped out last night after 3 songs, and of course, the breaks for the other 2 in between his performances. By the last one, Ryan was suggesting they get him a towel. If he does win, the first thing they need to do is get him some medical attention. Otherwise, there is no way that kid can do a 90 minute show.

Ruben has not been at the top of his game the last two weeks.
To: ican'tbelieveit
That's what started me thinking about it.
They are booked here in Raleigh in August, I think.....man, what ever will he do?

Vincent was a random pick--Clay never would have chosen it and it shouldn't have been inthe bowl in the first place---for any singer on this type of show. And the singers don't choose the arrangements---I think that arrangement of Unchained Melody had more to do with time constraints of live tv than anything else.
But I thought Clay showed a good range on it. He is the only one who consistently hits his notes.

Tamyra's voice is too wobbly for me...

Thanks for the ping. I got here just in time to hear my late mother's favorite song ruined by Tamyra.

I also wanted to get my 2 cents in about people who do not like this show. I like it for one major reason. For the most part, the contestants have been normal kids, that haven't been prepped for the stage their whole lives by overbearing parents. They are fairly clean cut, dress modestly, and are respectful to the judges and grateful for the fans.

I have to log off in a minute so I don't find out who won. Keep going, I be back after the show PDT. Thanks for all you help!
