Thank you, thank you.
Regretabbly, the Ronnie was concerned about her grading (of her student exams) but the dinner was excellent.
No elegant long evening of dining and nor dancing though.......
Saving it for a 4-day cruise in June from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas.
......
Judging by Jean's addendum to my answer last night, she's not a happy camper. Relatively speaking, that is.
......
Miss Sea, you're a vetern of the Carib since you dive there: We have passports; do we need "visas" as well to get into the Bahamas or Cococay (sp ?) nearby?

If the Bahamas are still a British protectorate, your US passport will suffice.

Robt...
Miss Slippy and I were there Oct '01 (Royal Caribbean), and we only needed Birth Certs and Drivers' licenses. Passports OK, and probably required for Canadians.

If you are on a cruise, all you need to do is get off of the ship. They don't check your passports at that point.....

Passport should be fine.

I'm an expert in this area, too.
You don't need a visa nor a passport. But bring the passport anyway, otherwise, you have to stand in the long line for Americans who forgot their passports.
