So you are saying that I was temporarily blinded by Gnatalie's face alone?

local CW station (www.wcty.com) isn't taking them off the air, and refuses to poll for opinions.

It was sooo obviously airbrushed! I knew when I pulled the issue from my mailbox.
Still liked it though!

I think the father is trying to justify his daughters appearing nude on the cover of a magazine. He may relieve his guilt and embarassment by pointing out that the picture is not real -- but the fact is, the intent on the part of the Dixie Chicks was to APPEAR NUDE! Their fan base didn't appreciated this any more than they did the comments about President Bush.

It's very obvious to anyone who has ever put together composite photos that it's the DC's heads on other women's bodies. Didn't fool me for a minute.

Keep telling yourself that, Dad, if it makes you feel better...

Dixie Chicks dad says daughters not nude in E.W. Cover
Uh huh. "They didn't pose nekkid. They only looked nekkid. So it's not the same thing."

Hmm. No surprise there. They didn't have any credibility before they "posed 'nude'", so the fact that they weren't really nude in the first place shouldn't surprise anyone.

Interesting that they decided to replace their bodies when it's what's (not) in their heads that is the problem.
To: TomHarkinIsNotFromIowa
So the airbrushed models in Playboy aren't really nude after all.
Sounds like some Blixie Chix are fathered by Baghhdad Bab.

The Erwin sisters dad is a school teacher in coastal Brunswick county, North Carolina. He's a dyed in the wool republican, albeit a curmudgeon personality wise.
