I wouldn't go to an O's game if they paid me. Sorry folks, that's juts the way I feel.
"They" killed it.
I'm with you. I loved the O's growing up - Brooks, Frank, Boog, Paul Blair, Jim Palmer, Dave McNally et al. But I couldn't care less now. I haven't watched or listened to an inning in two years, mostly because of the outrageous cost and my utter contempt for Peter Angelos.
The Bowie Baysox and Frederick Keys are the way to go. The baseball is just as entertaining and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
NASCAR has it figured out. Fans can bring their own beer and food and the kids get in for almost free. They're creating a whole new generation of fans because parents can afford to take the kids. Most of the kids these days play soccer and lacrosse and the parents can't afford to take them to baseball games, so the kids never form a bond with baseball. This is just the beginning of a huge slide for baseball.
