We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
The Bush Administration will consult with allies on whether to seek international sanctions against North Korea. The Communist nation has said such a move would be a "declaration of war."
Otherwise, not much news this morning.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

I have 5 minutes to make some smokes for tomorrow, spend time with the girls, and then get some serious relief from this pain.
Night all.
God bless us all. Each, and every one.

I hope the Doc can give you some relief. The bone spur protuding into your mouth sounds absolutely awful!
I'm ashamed to say,,,, I'm glad it's you, and not me.
I just don't have time for a tooth ache.

Yes, that shaggy mop is the doggie I have decided to get.
This woman does this business out of her home..when I got there she didn't have all the dogs that she initially advertised for (Sailor wasn't there Jim!!)
Heidi was being kept inside because it turned out she was more agressive than they thought at first.
There were about 8 dogs in the kennel pen, all rather small and a good mix, AND mostly males.
One small beagle in particular who kept yelping and yapping and digging (no - go!!)
I walked around to the front of the house where the shaggy one (her name is Daisy-Dog) and slowly approached her.
At first, she barked at me so as I got closer I knelt down and held out my hand for her while talking to her in a calm , soft voice...slowly she came over to check my hand out and gave me a few nudges with her nose...then all of a sudden she rolled over on her back, with all four paws up in the air. So I did the obligatory belly-rub for her.
After a while I went to the back of the house to check out the other ones again...still no real reaction from the other little doggies.
So I went back to the front to see Daisy-Dog again...this time she approached me first, licked my hand, then my arm, then my cheek...then she sat down with her back against my leg and wrapped her front paws around my arm as if to say, "OK, I'm yours"....
So Daisy-Dog is the one who will come home with us.
TODAY hopefully the woman will get her to the vet to be fixed and then I bring her straight home with me when that is all done.
She is shaggy and does need bath, but mostly you can tell she needs and wants just a whole lot of love..

Just what I need this morning, lots of coffee. Had a tossful night, up, down, up, down, but i knew that LORENA would have a 'pick-me-upper' waiting for me, just the thing to get me started. Lets see now, first, my grits and then the bacon, toast, egg, one item at a time so I can enjoy this feast. THANKS!!!!

Haven't decided on a name yet Toby.
I also haven't told girlchild or the pixies that I am bringing her home this week.
The Pixies would be too excited, and GirlChild doesn't understand the dynamics of chosing a pet, so she'll complain about her being shaggy and dirty.
But you just gotta see her, the way she looks into your eyes and lays there lookin for love...she really is a sweetheart.
She's only 8 months old but seems pretty well behaved and is pretty smart.

Girlchild will fall heads over heels over her, we both know this. A kid never sees a pet that he, she could not love. Gd wants a donkey - no, meant to say 2 donkies to put up on the farm. Gotta fence it first.

Good Morning Early Birds!
Neets, I've enjoyed reading the dogage stories. It sounds as tho you've found a 'match'.
Gc6, I look forward to your donkey stories. This should be good for plenty of fantastic ATRW posts.
Another road trip for me this week. I'm hoping to have most of my project wrapped up this week so I can work out of my home office.
It's 55 degrees at 5:30 this morning. Probably gonna get pretty warm today.

Donkeys????OM goodness...hahaha.
I am thinking of keeping the name Daisy for her...the more I think about it, the more I like it and the more I think it fits.

58 here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, up in the 80's later, lots to get done outside, fresh air, sweat, stinky (but loveable), a busted knuckle here and there, some 'words of anger' to the hard to do things, yep, gonna be a good day.

I know nothin' about donkeys. Personally, I prefer Elephants!! Perhaps you can turn your donkey into a money maker. You could paint it Red/White & Blue and rent it out to Democrats for Parades and Fund Raisers.

#235 and #258 are great pictures. Thanks for posting each of them.
kayak and Geunnie, my oldest daughter played with Strawberry short cake, youngest played with Blueberry Muffin. This year I bought oldest daughter's, daughter strawberry shortcake clothing for her birthday (7 yr.) at Target. It was so fun to see all those things again.
Nita, Daisy-Dog sounds like a real sweet heart.
PawPaw I had an uncle who had donkeys. They'd bite me every change they got. Not sure if it was just me or if they'd bite anyone.
Good morning everyone.
