I could only watch part of their PR interview. They're trying to save their a**e*!! They contradicted themselves throughout most of what I saw.
If they think there is backlash from this ignorant statement of Natalie Maines, wait until the fans they still have, find out that they are PETA supporters!! PETA has an offshoot goup called ALF (Animal Liberation Front) which is nothing but a terrorist group responsible for the deaths of animals that they "free". These animals die from starvation and exposure because they have never had to take care of themselves. The Dixie Chicks did a commercial for PETA (naked in a field) if memory serves me right. This was supposed to be in magazines around this time but they asked PETA to put it on hold for the time being. What are the chances that commercial will ever see the light of day now?
