I saw the thread earlier today when I was scrolling. I can't believe it - Ant Protection Officers. I'd like to see one of them try to stop me from killing those nasty ants when they decide to swarm into my kitchen. When I'm through with them, there are little corpses everywhere. The unfortunate thing about that is, I need to clean them up (the ants, not the protection officers). The idea is that they take the bait back to the nest to eat and feed it to the larvae and the queen. Some of it must make it back to the nest, because the infestation will disappear, but it takes time. Meanwhile, a whole lotta ants die everywhere. I was finding their little corpses in the cats' water dish every day. yuck.
