Maia kitty got her first dose of arthritis meds tonight. No way am I going to get a capsule down her, so I opened it up and mixed it Turkey fancy feast. She gobbled it down! I hope it helps. It's similar to the glucosamine stuff humans take, and the vet said it would take 3-4 weeks for it to be work. She's 13 1/2, and otherwise healthy. Your kitty gets allergy meds? I'm pretty sure maia has allergies too. She's always been a sneezy cat.
