And my hubby said, "He[ck], we're not ALL bad guys!". He hasn't talked to my ex...
To: null and void
Thanks for correcting my typo. No, he hasn't talked to your ex! It was pretty amusing, though. Two perfectly good husbands trying to defend the honor of other husbands! I must say though, one of my sisters didn't have a good husband. What a creep he turned out to be. I'd say he had classic anti-social behavior - seemed very charming and friendly at first, but is very self-centered and unemotional. He fooled a lot of people. They've been divorced for 15 years. He caused grief in the family until their son graduated from college and the folks didn't have to talk to each other anymore.

I'm with you Cheri .. I've thought it was Scott for some time.
What got my attention was when Geraldo did an interview with 3 of Laci's friends in the begining when Laci was first missing .. two of the girls came right out and said they didn't think Scott was involved but the third friend couldn't do that. Geraldo had to ask her a couple of times and she never did really throw her support behind him. I'm thinking there is a whole bunch more about Scott that we all haven't heard yet.

Hey, Mo! I missed that interview. I can't even say for sure now why I was suspicious at the beginning. I guess it was that the story seemed pretty contrived and unlikely. Pretty small boat for sturgeon fishing in the bay, for one thing. His demeanor (what we saw of it) for another. Not letting the police look around without a search warrant. Pretty bizarre.
Oh no. I don't want this to turn into a Laci Peterson thread. There are plenty of others out there. I have to go to the vet and pick up some arthritis medicine for my elderly cat. The poor thing walks so stiffly. She just got groomed on Thursday, and looks gorgeous.

Those threads are really interesting aren't they cheri??? I should have been an Investigator, I absolutely Love forensics and the art of solving crimes. Scott Peterson is every bit as evil as OJ S. The PRE-meditation in this case is just heart stopping. He appears to be a real sociopath. He appears to have been very successful at living a double life.

I'm thinking you are absolutely right!! I can hardly wait for the evidence the the MPD has to start unfolding. This will be as interesting as it is tragic. The Statement given by Laci's mother was absolutely heart wrenching!! Snotty boy has had mommie covering his A$$ all his life it looks like.

I love to watch the forensics shows, like The New Detectives. Pretty fascinating stuff. Plus, I like to see them nail the bad guys. :) I've been saying that Scotty was learning the OJ Simpson method of investigation - checking every golf course in the country for the REAL murderer!

*L* No, I'm not married. I think I'll cross all golfers off the potential husband list. Good thing the guy I like best doesn't golf at all.
To: ValerieUSA
Good idea. My husband doesn't golf and he wasn't a football player. He doesn't even watch football on TV. And he likes cats. I think I'm safe.

My chosen Mr Right doesn't watch sports on TV either, and has 4 cats. *L* He's a good guy. His guy weakness is CARS and MOTORCYCLES .. he's out of state at motorcycle races this weekend. Now if I could make myself another one of his weaknesses.....
To: ValerieUSA
It shouldn't be a problem making yourself one of his weaknesses, Val. If you aren't yet, just give him a little time, and encouragement!
My hubby's weakness is guns and sports cars. Both are expensive habits. His car, an MR2, is about to give up the ghost, and he wants a BMW Z3. Sorry. Can't afford it right now. We just bought this house last summer. We need a pickup to haul home improvement stuff. Sometimes, compromise is necessary!

This should be getting to the dealers shortly.
If you've got a home, you must have a pickup of some sort.

Yeah, we need a pickup. A couple of times, we've put the top down in my convertable to accommodate purchases from home depot, and taken the back roads home. Since the MR2 is about to give it up, we'll buy a pickup, and he can use that to drive to work in, as well. Looks like a nice pickup there. I think he wants a Toyota pickup, though.

I can hardly wait for the evidence the the MPD has to start unfolding. This will be as interesting as it is tragic. It doesn't matter. In Kalifornia there is bound to be at least one sniffley tree hugging soccer mom on the jury who just can't believe that sweet boy did it.
On the first day, when he made the police wait for a search warrant to check the house for evidence, I knew he was guilty. There was no other explanation for that.

I dunno, Swervie. He might not get popped for double murder and the death sentence if there is a NOW hag on the jury who doesn't want to believe that Connor a human being, but people are pretty ticked off about the murders. Even in Kali, plenty of folks get sent to prison, and death row. They just don't get processed off of death row. There are nearly 600 of them there right now, and the production line isn't moving along too well. If he does end up convicted and thrown into state prison whether on death row or not, he will probably have to be kept isolated from the gen. population. Baby killers aren't real popular in there. Even cons have their standards, you know.

Yeah, we need a pickup. Maybe he just needs a sporty truck.

I gotta tell ya, we don't see many of those around here! I'm not sure that's what he has in mind. Might be a little tough to haul two German shepherds around in. That's another reason we need a truck. Two shepherd dogs aren't going to fit in his MR2.
