In his words "how can dogs have the cleanest mouths if they lick their butts?" Believe me, he sometimes has interesting questions! I thought that someone could get me off the hook by explaining this.

The dog's mouth is clean, despite licking his butt, simply because his butt is exceptionally clean. How could that be? Because he licks it so much.
