we do have laws on the books here on stealing antenas you know We have laws on the books about not lying to a grand jury, too, but that didn't seem to stop UOx42.

Yes, that was a great column. Apparently Mark STeyn wrote about it in his tribute to Kelly, but so far haven't been able to find that Steyn column.
If anyone has it, would you post a link??
Thanks!!

If someone steals an OnStar antenna, can they hook it up and make it work on their own unit? Or are they just doing the thievery thing for fun?
I've only used my OnStar once,,,, shortly after I got my new wheels. I couldn't figure out how to use the dimmer switch. They were quite helpful, and promised NOT to use my call in a commercial.

Yes, and no significant pain, either.

Good morning.
I recommend everyone read "Clinton and the Weasels." At the end of that thread I have posted a reply with an idea. I would appreciate you all giving me your thoughts on this. Thanks!
I will be here a bit this morning and then in brief snippets throughout the day. My baby granddaughter is coming to stay with me today and I will be busy with her.
Chairman, thank you for the opening to this thread. Sometimes when we are consumed with world events, your posts such as that help to maintain the proper focus. Thank you so much!
To: Miss Marple
Enjoy your time with Hannah.

Most likely 'stealing for fun', don't know if one fits all or not.
Chair, if 'The Evil One' opens his mouth he is lying.

Morning...
Glad you will get to rest at home this weekend.
....funny how certain occasions bring long forgotten memories.
Easter is Easter....glorious and wonderful.
But Easter also meant, for me, when I was growing up ..(& my Dad on a very average income)...
...we always had to wait for the income tax return to arrive!!...before Mom & I could head out to get our Easter dress...(sometimes only the day before Easter, it seems)
Such a silly memory, but I distinctly remember I always got a dress with a hat...(some kind of plain straw thing with a brim, not a bonnet :), ...ha ha....
..silly memories.
On Mother's Day, we always picked our white or red roses right out of the back yard----no florist in those days.
Traditionally, you always wore a white or red rose to commemorate your mom.
