The repors\ts I have seen given by a 3rd SF Group master sergeant was that "the Kalashnikov was fine for the civillians to own, its the big stuff they are after. And it looks like everyone needs sme self defense around here"

I think only small arms confiscated will be the fighting enemys small arms.
