but that is exactly the point.
Why did Saddam fire his air-defense minister? It was
the rational thing to do and an admission that they
were at fault, not the Americans.
Would it not be better for these bombings to continue and blame it all on the US?

I also read (somewhere on here) where a couple of witnesses said that the RG came out after the marketplace bombing and cleaned up before the cameras got there.
Most of the mainstream media don't want to report this, since this type of news is non-productive for their propaganda. (slam the Americans...)Even propagandists can't manipulate these types of findings if they don't have the missle and bomb fragments with English on them. If they have arabic on them, they need to hide it to preserve the image that it is the Mean Ole' 'Mericans.
Firing the ADM would be prudent if his missle and AAA batteries can't bring down missles coming into RG sites and destroying the Presidential Palaces (who'd want them when they are nothing but rubble...) Maybe he was fired 'cause he didn't have the propaganda proof to show the Iraqi people that the bombs are American?

Why did Saddam fire his air-defense minister? It would make Hussein sense if the SAM had landed on something he cared a lot about, like a munitions store or something.
