I have users with both flavors at home, in addition to a Win2K laptop that I provide that seem to work well with Linksys wireless products. Basically everything is tcp/ip and should work well as long as that Win98 box is Second Edition (original 98 is a problem).

Windows XP has been great, except htat I constantly download changes to make certian no one can break into my computer. But I like it better than WIN 98.

Yep, should work fine. I've connected XP and 98SE with Linksys wireless before with no problems.

A pre-install XP compatibility program tells me that XP doesn't support Netbeui, which my Linksys wireless LAN appears to use. XP does support Netbeui and has it on the install disk.
Good luck finding it though. ;^)
