I've gone shooting down there a couple of times and was amazed to see all the subdivisions and building activity that is happening in the Hill Country. We were returning from a friend's ranch outside of Wimberly just after school had adjourned and there was an honest to goodness traffic jam for crying out loud.

Lots of us early boomers cashing it out and leaving the rat race I guess.

We found out yesterday that our brother in law's last scan showed that the cancer has metastasized to his lungs and liver - things are pretty somber around here.
