It's unlikely that Al Gore has many positive thoughts about President Bush. But even the defeated Democrat was unimpressed with Michael Moore's infamous Oscar outburst against the President. The former VP was in New York Thursday night to attend the opening of "Urban Cowboy" at the Broadhurst Theater and a dinner that followed at the Marriott Marquis.

There, Gore sat at a table with Emmy-nominated actor Ricky Paull Goldin. The star of "The Guiding Light," who said he'd just read Moore's best seller "Stupid White Men," asked Gore what he thought of Moore's anti-Bush tirade as he accepted an Oscar for his documentary "Bowling for Columbine."

"Gore told me, 'I agree with the content, [but] I didn't agree with the delivery,'" Goldin told us.

That must be slim consolation to Moore, who instantly turned a standing ovation for his win into a chorus of boos. NY Daily news
