Iraq War Finished Betting Pool

We should have a pool for when the Iraqi war is won. The condition for declaring victory is that the Iraqi regime will have to formally surrender. Note there may well be guerillas and bandits operating after the formal surrender.

There were several "when will the war start" threads, but predicting when Saddam will fall is much more difficult. Frankly I haven't a clue.

I was betting it would be "over" in 10 days. We would be in Bagdad and in control of the city. I'll have to stretch that to 15 days, so by April 2, 2003 we will not be bombing and will have secured the major cities.
Within a week of stopping the bombing, April 9, a coalition of THE Coalition and new Iraqi leaders will be running the infrastructure.
