I was just wondering who you all think is still alive in the Iraqi regime. I don't belive we have seen any LIVE footage of Saddam or his low-life sons but what about Aziz and the other head-hanchos? I have seen the vice president(hilarious title if you take into the account what these dudes do to their own people) in live footage...anyone else?

Aziz gave a live press conference at the Rashid Hotel in Baghdad just yesterday.

I think Saddam's alive and that Aziz is irrelevant (but somewhat more likely than not alive). I think if Saddam were dead, the regime would've already capitulated. The reason we aren't seeing much footage of Saddam is probably just because of the security precautions keeping us from pinning down his location.
Still, I would not be much surprised if he's dead; I simply think he's more likely alive. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if the Iraqi 'tip' which led to that initial strike was just a ruse to make us think Saddam may be out of the picture.

They've been showing Tariq Aziz fiving press conferences lately. Darn. He was probably busy the first few days finding a doctor for Saddam.
Hopefully the son's are dead. Haven't seen them once.

OK, in light of the first reply, I obviously think Aziz is alive & well. Didn't know about the news conference...

From what I understand the Iraqi tip was actually from our own special forces.
