Time Magazine and "Iraq History"

Regarding Time Magazine's recent commentary on "history" leading to the present Iraqi conflict: ==============

Tony Karon's "History"

Should we be dismayed, amused or simply resigned that Time Magazine has published Mr. Tony Karon's so-called Iraq-war history. It omits one minor name between Bush-the-first and Bush-the-present: Clinton.

Apparently, nothing notable occurred to affect our Nation's Iraq and terrorism policy in the near-decade that Bubba and his wife's billing records otherwise preoccupied themselves in the White House.

While he wrings his hands over a "core of activist conservative ... ideologues," does Mr. Karon have any thoughts (to echo his rhetoric) about the core of conscienceless liberal empty-logues who presided over the most self-absorbed and irresponsible White House in memory?

Clinton's missed opportunities for renewed world community -- requiring the political courage to face up to a truly dangerous new world chaos -- required so much more!

Now we and President Bush inherit the consequences.
