Usually, I'm not too confrontational, but these people are getting under my skin.

I tried going to bed 3 different times - no sleep. Instead I read that new book by the military fellow who carried the nuclear football under Clinton -- talk about our worst fears realized.
Most everything you've ever heard about Shrill and Bill is true. Most tellingly, Shrill had this special box of "files" that she took w/her EVERYWHERE and that the military aides had to haul on and off Marine One when they went to Camp David - then they had to make sure that Shrill saw just where in the bedroom they placed the special box of files or Shrill would have a screechin' fit. No one was ever allowed to look into the box.
I just kept wishing Barbara Olson would've known about these "special files" Shrill took everywhere. Shrill might be doing time if Barbara O and Barbara C had known about them.

On the lighter side:
Saddam Hussein and his chauffeur were rolling down the highway when suddenly they hit a pig crossing the road. They killed it instantly. Saddam tells his driver: "Go to da farm over dere and hexplain to da honer of da pig what appened."
One hour later, Saddam sees his driver coming back from the farm, his clothes all wrinkled, a bottle of wine in one hand and a cigar in the other. "What appen to you?" he asks. "Well, the farmer gave me a bottle of wine, his wife, and the cigar, and their 19 year old daughter made wild passionate love to me." "My God! What did you tell dem?" asked President Hussein.
The driver answered: "Good evening, I am Saddam Hussein's chauffeur and I have just killed the pig."

I believe that the lungs are an add on option...but with all the hormones that meat producers are adding to food these days - hers might be home grown.
Stranger things have happened.

I'd swear Campbell Brown is Peter Jennings' daughter - at least, ideologically.

I just read the article in the most recent Sports Illustrated about playing golf with Bill Clinton (there's an FR thread on it
here), and couldn't stop gritting my teeth about that dishonest piece of crap. If I read the new book (Dereliction of Duty?) I may just go out of control.
To: mountaineer
Yup, that's the book.
I just got back from surfing over at the WoodenBoat Magazine website, where every freakin' lefty that owns a computer hangs out. Talk about not much between the ears. And the arrogance - Ann Coulter was right when describing liberals as all for free speech as long as it's their speech that gets heard.
Actually, the author of Dereliction of Duty does a really nice job exposing the inanities of the "Clinton Foreign Policy" - or actually the lack of a coherent Clinton Foreign Policy.
Where did Shock & Awe go?

From what little I've heard, S & A is being used in waves, to try and encourage the genuises to give it up.
If one Shock is not enough to convince them, then several hours later we try and Awe them with the next display of Hell on Earth.
Get your virgins quickly - don't surrender quickly.
I want this to end soon.

Speaking of sites where stupid lefties hang out, I've been checking out the alumni discussion board at the college in my town (I'm not an alum, but they gossip a lot about people I know here in town and I like to see what they're saying). Today, some alum posted the following:
Operation `shock and awe' is complete and total barbarism , and if even one civilian is killed it puts bush co. right in league with Osama and they should be tried for crimes against humanity; tomorrow I will join others in protest- revulsion ... today I am ashamed to be an American...Dave H. 78 79
I responded by citing the UPI story wherein Iraqis said they would have killed themselves had the Americans not commenced military action. He replied:
Whether or not Iraqis may or may not agree with me isn't the point. The point is that the United States is a -- charter -- member of the United Nations. The United Nations Charter is very explicit about waging war against another sovereign nation without provocation. The United States is now a rogue nation for acting without UN approval in Iraq. Say what you will about Saddam, but he's been easily contained over the past dozen years by sanctions and inspections. The process was working. Iraq had not attacked any other nation, nor, contrary to the lies of the Bush pseudo-administration, had they any relations to bin Laden or terrorism in general. The average Iraqi on the street in Baghdad will tell you that their quality of life was far more compromised by U.S. sanctions than by Saddam; in Saddam's secular state, men and women were equal, had equal opportunity to work, and as along as politics wasn't your thing, Saddam couldn't care less what you did. And to compare Saddam to Hitler and Stalin is just nonsense, and diminishes the true horrors of the latter. Saddam is just another opportunistic thug, one of many the US supports when it's in our interests to do so.
There really is no reasoning with these people.
And what's the latest anti-war protest tactic? Read it and try not to bust a gut (when will these people learn when not to use an apostrophe?):
ECONOMIC PROTEST AGAINST BUSHS ATTACK ON IRAQ
Wednesday, March 19th 2003 Every Day
Cleveland, Ohio
THE BEST ECONOMIC PROTEST AGAINST BUSHS ATTACK ON IRAQ
Buy Euros!! Go to your local bank (or where ever you can get the best exchange rate) and buy Euros Buy and hold Euros until Bush withdraws from his Preemptive strike on Iraq and gains United Nations support for all actions with Iraq. Dont just buy Euros with your Schwab or Merrill Lynch account.. that wont do. You must hold the currency in hand, safe deposit box etc.
Buying Euros hits Bush is his pocket in a hurry. Buying Euros shows support of the EU the United Nations and it shows dissatisfaction with Bushs policy. France, Germany, Russia and 48% of the British parliament want to postpone Bushs attack of Iraq. Do your part and vote against Bushs attack on Iraq. If every American for piece buys $20 of Euros we can show a response worth 200 or 300 hundred of million. moron web site
To: mountaineer
Ha ha, I just noticed that their entreaty to buy "Euro's" [sic] also said "American for piece." LOL. Yessir, those colleges are turning out some real scholars.
To: mountaineer
Oh, there's the BD. I wondered where it had gone.
(changing the subject) -- piece - I want some piece! Like hey, man, I want me some piece.
There really is no reasoning with these people. What gauls me is that if they hate America so much, why don't they pack their happy @sses off to France? It's a beautiful place where they'd fit right in.
You know what'd be funny? Get a ton of english/french language dictionaries and go down to one of these protests and start handing them out along with an airline schedule of flights to France. Now that would be a good time ;>)

Dave, hopefully one day you will grow up and your brain will grow with you. Although, if you were of the class of 78 79, my hope is very much diminished. Please pray that the great state of WV has an assistance program in place for the mentally disadvantaged.
Are you able to read a map and find California? Hint...it's next to the Pacific Ocean - no, the long skinny state that's about to fall off into the ocean.
