Cancelled LA Times - Vanity
Posted on 03/17/2003 10:54:59 AM PST by Allen In Texas Hill Country
I finally did it. After reading the LA Times for 18 years I cancelled the subscription this morning. The front page Saturday and Sunday issues were 100% Bush bashing. Can't believe I did it.

Good for you! Besides, you can get more "balanced" news here. (Only drawback is that it's addictive...)

Good for you! We've been "S.F. Chronical and Examiner" free for about 10 years now... The Clinton presidency did it for us, not to mention the trash written was too disgusting to leave laying around the house. You will feel cleansed, free of dirt! And anyways, you have the great FREE REPUBLIC to turn to!!!
Best wishes and God bless.

The Orange County Register is fine if you feel you need a paper.
I've found that all the news and analysis you really need can be found online for FREE, or, as in Free Republic's case, a small donation once or twice a year.
