In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....
tetchy\TECH-ee\, adjective:
Peevish; testy; irritable.
Etymology: Tetchy probably comes from Middle English tecche, "a bad habit," from Old French tache, teche, "a spot, stain, blemish, habit, vice."

Odd. The lovely Mrs. Dupa recently commented on a related subject. She was listening to Dr. Joy Brown, whom provides the Mrs. with more entertainment than inspiration, as my better half doesn't often agree with the doc. So Dr. Joy was bragging to some caller that she was married, had a kid and got her Ph.D. at 24. We both agreed that that is not something to brag about - it was most likely a half-ass way to go about life. What are the odds full attention was to be paid to all fields? Or that youth would make good choices is such a mad rush?
Small wonder that marriage ended in divorce.

Not to get too tetchy, but what in $%^& is going on hear?
Mr. Liberal Norman Lear to co-write some South Park episodes. To quote Cartman "I hate hippies" and "Screw you guys I'm going home." This bites the big one. As if there wasn't eough bad news between the "filibuster" and the war that never starts.

personally i feel that marrying early does mean a greater chance of divorce. people are not even who they are going to end up BEING yet, and they are married to someone who doesn't know who HE IS, either.

Lear, 80, is best known for such politically charged comedies in the 1970s Just what every hip thought provoking show needs.

you can continue to grow together, after each of you knows who you are. and i know you agree with this jagoff, since you got married late in life as well.
