The fact is Bush is not a good speaker. My 13 year old even noticed that he needs to read every response. I would like for him to be able to present his points clearly and with confidence. The fact that he reads his response to questions the press asks also is a problem. It is obvious that the questions were screened in advance. I know not everyone is not a good public speaker but he really needs to work on it if he is going to succeed.

He's not looking down as he's answering, and there are no teleprompters in the room. I also doubt that the White House press corps would let pass without comment any attempt to have the questions submitted beforehand. This isn't one of Clinton's town meetings.

Oh bosh ... it makes him quite an emotionally powerful speaker, not an orator, but it;s clear he speaks from the well-trained heart. No oratory can best that.

Yeah, you're right- he'll never amount to anything (like, say, President of the United States).

Your post is a load of crappola.
And, excellent. This thread has been moved to "chat" where it belongs. :-)

I know not everyone is not a good public speaker but he really needs to work on it if he is going to succeed. He is President of the USA, what exactly is your definition of success?
