Um, I don't think so.

The Federalization of schools will allow the educrats in Washington to redefine what constitutes an education. So when it comes time to test what the kids have learned guess what interests the educrats? These written tests have already contained some rather invasive questions about family, methods of discipline, whether the parents own guns, if they read the Bible... Then there are the "tolerance" questions to determine if the little urchins have adopted the correct attitudes about gay/lesbian/transsexual issues.

It's been renamed the "No Child Left Alone Act," and parents should fight it for all they are worth. The Act promises to invade private and home schools as soon as the parent takes the vouchers. It's a trojan horse of the first order. It was a sellout on the part of President, and stands as one of the lowpoints of his administration. Best you know what you are talking about before you represent your ideas to the Chronicle as those of a conservative.
