Oh, this is funny, and so true. We're used to it now, after living in Utah for a number of years, but there definitely is a "Mormon way" of naming kids. A favorite thing is adding capital letters in the middle of the name. I know a MayDean (guess her parents names), a LaVern (male), and a DeNeice (yes, the vowels are in that order). Then there is our sweet young local celebrity, Neleh Dennis of Survivor fame, Helen backwards, pronounced "neh-LEE-ah".

Whoa, hold it there pal. It's a UTAH Mormon thing. As a Mormon myself I can tell you that Utah Mormons are a little different than the rest of us in some way, especialy when it comes to naming kids.
