In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....

This was too funny. I got into a mideast/Iraq discussion with one of the attys. Eventually he tried to use the terrorism/poverty link. To which I pointed out that most of these rascals
are wealthy and come to the America's best schools for college and hate us anyways...or maybe that is where they pick up the Anti-American sentiment. Later, I find out he got his JD at Harvard...LOL

A further example along those Lines...
He is always going on about nancy R's astrologer, and the regular Reagan leftist propaganda, so I usually will get him over the defeating of communism, but last week, on Ronnie's Birthday, (Where I Announced it to the Class...to his Rolling of the eyes) as the Birthday of Americas Greatest president......
And so he starts in, and I said, "Well, he may not have ben creative enough to create Stagflation, which according to Keynes and his followers could NEVER EXIST, but apparently he was so unlearned in Economics that he sure cured it in a Hurry....."
He had no comment....

Oh. Too abstruse. I considered briefly that you may have been referring to poontang pies, but then figured it wasn't likely you'd do that. So then I figured it wasn't Pi but some kind of obnoxious New Age symbol I gratefully knew nothing about.
Meanwhile, Arts & Letters Daily is down, must be the goddam terrorists.

i know that isn't the conventional pi symbol, but it must mean PI in some form bc it came up when i googled for Pi!

It looks a lot like pi (see my original post) but the way it looked on that background, I thought maybe it meant something else.
