COLUMBIA, Mo.(AP) - Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, about "The Vagina Monologues" - starring Mary Ann. Dawn Wells, best known for playing girl-next-door castaway Mary Ann on the '60s sitcom "Gilligan's Island," is a featured guest performer starting Tuesday in Columbia's national touring production of Eve Ensler's provocative play about women and their sexuality.

She's the one who mailed Bob Denver his reefer, for which he got into trouble, a few years back.
A few years ago, she was in a play mouthing off some very filthy words.

What sense is there in calling in VAGINA monologue rather than FEMALE

You know the career isn't going so well when you're playing a limited run engagement of "The Vagina Monologues" in Columbia, Missouri. Maybe The Professor can think of some way to get her out of this.

VAGINA is more in your face, so to speak.
Remember, everything is a statement for those type of people.

She didn't mind being known as Mary Ann when she was selling that Gilligan's Island cookbook.

I met her and Russell Johnson (Professor) a few years ago. He was a nice, friendly guy. She seemed rather full of herself and certainly had had more cosmetic surgery than most people this side of Joan Rivers.

Actually, it's because the topic is discussions the author had with women about their vaginas.
I've seen it. It's not as bad as it's made out to be. Had conservatives kept quiet it would have faded away by now because it is painfully boring.

it's sad how desperate some people get when they are out of work. it's nothing short of verbal prostitution.

Thats what I thought. One of the SNL chicks was doing the play in my city, and listening to her describe it, it sounded about as fun as watching paint peel, with a lot of insipid angst.

It wasn't in the version I saw, which is the case in most presentations. That said, the monologue is how the girl felt about what happened. I've read it to see what it was all about, and it is truly disturbing.
I think it serves a few of purposes for conservatives, however. First, it exposes what many have said for years; there are homosexuals who are sexual predators preying on minors. Some truly do recruit. It also supports my belief, which is that many homosexuals become homosexual to cope with an assault in childhood.
