As sad a day as it was, it could only be made sadder by the kind of speculation that seems determined to second guess and blame the NASA engineers, way before any evidence is conclusive. That could only stiffle and deter future projects and support, and that would be a tragic result of this terrible accident.

No one with any sense would take a 20 year old flying bread truck who oil is changed by the government down the street much less in space.
