I still have about 20 trees on my property,mostly Redwoods. This one I have to cut down is only a pine. It's just the hoops I have to jump thru to do it that ticks me off!
There is one town nearby that makes us do everything you have to do.....except...
After we cut the thing down, we have to plant as many caliper inches of trees as we cut down.
I'm sure on your highly wooded grounds you could find room.
