*Rant* - I have to have a tree in my front yard cut down. It pains me to do that, but for safety sake I must. It's about 250 feet tall, and growing at an angle. The professional tree guys say it will fall across the road onto my neighbors roof. The root is unstable and if it rains hard again it just might go. Okay, fine... I don't like to cut it down, but I will.
But, come to find out, I have to have a PERMIT to cut my own tree down. I have to go to the county and tell them why I want it cut, they have to approve my reason. Then I have to post a notice on the tree for the public to see. The public then has 7 days to protest with the county. If at the end of the 7 days if no one protests then I get to pay $2000.00 to the tree guys to cut it down and remove the wood. grrrrrrr... *end of rant*
