If you're right( I think you are) the "meeting" will probially take place sometime after Aragorn and Eowyn depart. Otherwise Eowyn would see Aragorn sad and...

I thought the discussion between Elrond and Arwen in TTT to be very effective movie storytelling--particularly that wonderful scene from the appendix about her own mortality should she choose to stay in Middle Earth.

If PJ wants to be very nice to his fans, he could film a "appendix documentary" for the extended version of ROTK to include the beginning of the Fourth Age of Middle Earth, and Sam's career as mayor of Hobbiton...the stuff that's in the appendix. With a voiceover narrative, wouldn't be too much trouble...(g)p>
