I've had both a doberman and a rottie and they were both outstanding animals! The dobie had back surgery and two spinal taps, which are extremely painful, but he never even growled. In fact, whenever he saw the vet enter his area it was reported he just rolled his eyes and groaned.

The rottie was the same. Two more loving, gentle, faithful friends couldn't be found anywhere!

IT'S THE OWNERS WHO SHOULD BE LOCKED UP, NOT THE DOGS!!!

I love both those breeds also. They are all so beautiful and loyal. Dogs are the greatest friends ever! I prefer "agressive" breeds if you will... Pit's, German Shepherd's, Rotties, Dobies. But I think that's just because after owning or being around most of them, you realize that they are big babies!!! Unless someone tries to hurt you or your family, these breeds would not in my opinion, hurt or go after someone unprovoked.
