I can see how that would be uncomfortable to a wife. However, having a look at FR as a whole would probably indicate that we have a higher than normal moral fiber here. On this thread, while we ponder on the LoTR men often, we do know how to keep our comments in line - mostly. The caring nature of our relationships are reflected often in the prayers and concerns for one another.
All in all, I think we are probably a more trustworthy cross-section of American single women than you'd find most places.
