I got a hardcover edition of the Silmarillion and the revised Atlas of Middle Earth for Christmas... My book lust is soothed somewhat....;^)

I'm looking to fill some holes in my "History of Middle-Earth" hardcover collection... we have a local bookstore here that has some of the volumes but not all of them, so I've had to buy some in paperback.

I'm reading Volume VI now, "The Return of the Shadow", the first book dealing with the writing of LOTR... it is fascinating! Frodo was originally named Bingo, Strider was a Hobbit named Trotter, and Treebeard was evil!
