I'm frustrated because I set down a schedule and rules for the next two weeks if he wants to still play football. I can't enforce them from here, but there has been an excuse every night for why he hasn't gone to work out at the school.
This is the final straw. If he does not go to work out tonite (in the next 15 minutes), he does not play football. I have been trying to get him there for three weeks. And, going only increases his chance to actually play and not spend all season pickin' splinters out of his butt sittin' on the bench.
Just said to the wife, "If he does not go, then our word means nothing and the battle is lost."
sigh...
