I hope you folks are spending a few minutes thinking about what we can have engraved on our "project" pocket knives. I'm thinking the best thing may be a URL pointing to our military support efforts at www.the-hobbit-hole.net. That would give anybody who gets a knife an immediate location to learn about our efforts. We could then place a reference there to the HH here on FR.

Any other ideas yet? I estimate we have a week, at least, to nail this down.

What about a short sentence inspiration (few words) or something about blades even from LoTR and then where to find us?

How much is engraving? - Is it spendy by the letter?

Tell you what. So far it looks like we're in favor of the url. I think that's good. And I really like the idea of a quote as well but I don't know if there's room on the blade. So, when these knives are ready to be mailed out, how 'bout I make up a little paper thingy to go with each one that has a great quote from the book - something about blades. And they will have the url on the blade... and a quote to read. With our Hobbit Hole logo and screen names? How does that sound? Still thinking on this... Please send any terrific quotes you think of.
