Frodo arrives looking a little frazzled from Baltimordor. A bit weary from his travels, he's glad to get out of his box and stretch his legs.

"I'm here! Where am I?"
"A place sometimes called 'The Southern Part of Heaven'. Here, Frodo. Have some tea and rest a while.

"Then we'll walk around a bit.
"Reminds me of Crickhollow," Frodo seemed to approve of my little house.
Frodo is an ideal house guest making it a point to be helpful around the house.

"We had a bad ice storm last winter and there's still a lot of fallen trees that need to be cleared."
"You have my sword."
Most of the weekends were rainy....too foul a weather for Frodo to be out much. So we downed pints and watched the races:

"Where do you go, and what do you do every day during the week. 'Tis a strange custom....leaving your home just to work."
"I work in a lab....I'll take you one day"
"Wizardry of Saruman!" Frodo exclaimed staring at the row of sep funnels. "Why is there an insect in the last one?"
"Uhhh.....unplanned method deviation.
| "So this is where you use your Palantir to talk to the others?" | "The Gaffer could use this for his home brew" |
I don't think that hobbits are cut out for a lab...maybe he would be more at home in a small town setting. So we packed up....
...and spent the weekend at The House:
...and saw such sights as:
| Frodo in the dwarvling corn | Scuppernong vines. |
Frodo guards the pecan trees agains squirrels, foreign and domestic....uh...make that domestic only.
Miss Emily relaxes, knowing Frodo and Sting are near:
"Let me show you our little town on a Sunday morning."
| "I bet there are spiders under there." | "This place reminds me of Rosie." |
| Frodo hanging out at the corner of Perry's Hardware and Gunshop | Local "historic site" the first Post Office. |
"This might make you feel a bit at home, Frodo:"
"Feels like the Southfarthing."
I figured that Frodo might be getting a bit hungry, so we went back to The House for some red meat off the bone:
Time to eat! (Frodo and my sister.)
"Well, Frodo, all good things must come to an end. It's time for you to head north to visit SuziQ. Here are some snacks for you to take on the road."
