LOL!! Here's another funny one...(imo)
I once was commenting about how nice it was that I could hand down Matthew's clothes to Joshua...that Joshua had just grown into Matthew's old training underwear. Miss Ashley wrinkled up her nose and said "Oh, I could NEVER pass down underwear!"
I replied "Oh yeah? Well I wonder how many people DIED on sheets you had your babies on? A little Clorox and everything is good as new."
This threw her into a real state...she won't drink out of a glass anywhere but in her own home without a straw...not even in my mom's house! We're so Nasty, you know...

she won't drink out of a glass anywhere but in her own home without a straw...The straw seperates her from the germs in the glass? - Is she serious?

That's so funny. When Myranda was born my youngest brother had just married. His wife was real hoity toity. I had a home birth in my old farmhouse. No A/C - windows wide open. They came to visit the weekend after Myranda was born. I heard my very young s-i-l outside in the front yard saying how she couldn't understand even living in a house like mine much less giving birth! And I've always thought about my fresh clean sheets and bedroom that I knew HOW everything had been cleaned as opposed to all the unknown germy factors in even the most clean hospital!
My s-i-l has had 4 kids now and is much more down to earth, though not enough. She still freaks over handwashing, playing outside, touching animals etc. Her kids like me. I forget to consider those dangers. Although, their oldest is now about 16 and has taken on her mom's qualities. Poor thing.
