I think it would be horrible to have all your growing pains and your maturing process plastered on the front cover of the tabloids.
She was very young when she got started. 19! When I think back at some of the things I did and believed at 19... I cringe.
I know. A lot of folks didn't like her because she was outside of the royal mold, so to speak. But she was a girl who wanted to be a teacher, have a family...a simple life. To be burdened with such responsiblity and with such high expectations is not a task many people would do well or even get through without a hitch.
Every mistake she made was shouted from the headlines. *shudder*
I believe she was coming into her own at the time of her death. Truly tragic, because she seemed like the type of person who would fight for what she believed in...even if it went against the status quo. I like that kind of spirit in a person.
