When I contracted at Kelsey Hayes, I suggested they invest a mere $10K for a desktop CNC machine, so that they could cut wax models of their Catia designs. The part could then be spray painted to look like metal.

See, now that would be a cool toy to have in the classroom for these student presentations. But, alas, I thought I was doing good to get a new projector this year.

BTW, 1/3 of the way through. Nobody brought donuts. :-(
