Has it ever occurred to you , Corin, that being there for your boys is EXACTLY the thing that you need to be doing?

Yes, I do know that. And I was thinking about that last night at the ballgame. My "to do" list was running through my mind and I said to myself "No, the most important thing I can be doing right now is watching this game." And I know that.

I'm really okay. And I can drudge along here as long as I need to. But it's frustrating to be here and think we're wasting resources on projects that just aren't going anywhere. That's the conservative in me. If it doesn't need to be done. Get rid of it. Even if it's my job.

And in the future, it will definitely be worth it. You probably like baseball. But, I detest sitting and watching sports. I am a participant not a spectator. My kids have both been in band. I go watch them march at the football games and take a book. Recently, the oldest told me, "you know mom, you don't know how much that meant to me because you went. because I knew you hated every minute of it but you were there."

so, it was all worth that.
